Artist Statement

I live and work in Cavan Town. Inspired by my deep interest in pottery and sculpture, I decided to start a workshop in my hometown, after 2 years working in a small pottery in Galway. Creating unique sculpture, decorative pieces and items for everyday use. The products range from small bowls to complicated sculptures. I aim to develop a well designed kitchenware/tableware and giftware which reflects my locality and my passion for ceramics.

Shows and Exhibitions

The World 'Fleadh' was held in Cavan this year and I had the opportunity to show my work there. I am also attending Craft Shows and Fairs and also have some of my work in various local shops and studios.

Commissions

I have been commissioned to do a large Round Bowl for The President of Ireland, Mary McAleese, who is visiting Cavan.
I was also commissioned to do two 'Doves' for a local Church.
